Blog Week #5

This week i have finalized my double page spread design and have finished setting out the layout ready for my article to be placed in.

For this design i have chosen to use two of my photo shoot images, one of Marcus the model on the left holding a gun pointed horizontally to one side, with a serious expression on his face. I then cut, refined edge and copied this cutout of him into a blank cinema-widescreen area that i have designed to fit into the top of my double page spread. I then did the same with the image of my polar bear model Ryan. I then made sure they both aligned with the barrel of the gun aimed slightly above Ryan's polar bear nose. I then hide both of these layers and designed a conflicting fire and ice background that will show an overpowering force of fire and a melting source that connotates to innocence. Afterwards i un-hid the layers of my models and gave each of them a glow that corresponsds to thier background images. I chose two lines that would appear as quotes that i would use in my article and had a comedic effect.

my targets for the end of this week is to finish my article and place in the final designed image then finalize the rest of my work making sure that my article and image placement is right.
