Blog, Week #3

I have taken all of the photo's i needed for front cover page design and double page spread. I prepared some props that i made my models wear when they modeled for my shoot. I made some noses and ears that are meant to signify that my models are representing the polar bears. I have made sure that their outfits seem cheap and amateur so that there is a large element of humor in the image. Here are some examples of the images i have taken.

 In my images i have chosen to use the gun as a symbol of power and used the models body language to connotate to the seriousness of the topic, but obviously their appearance is more relate-able as i have made sure to use models which are around my target audiences age range. I have also setup the lighting to be harsh against the black background which contrasts well with my polar bear models white clothing.

My targets for this week is to refine my choice of what images to use and begin work on using the images i have selected and put them into my designs of my front page and double page spread.
